Emma Hills, Solicitor Apprentice

Emma has been in employment within private law firms from the age of 17 and has had experience of working in all areas of law. In 2006 Emma moved to Australia and gained employment with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions Government Agency. She was employed as a Legal Assistant, in Darwin and Adelaide, assisting solicitors with proceeds of crime, benefit fraud and illegal fishing. She continued as a Paralegal for the Indigenous Land Corporation Government Agency helping indigenous communities and corporations to acquire land and achieve economic, environmental, social and cultural benefits.
Emma retuned to the UK in 2015, and joined Bakers Solicitors shortly after. Emma works predominantly in the Family Department, employed as a Paralegal. Emma has recently been accepted onto the Solicitor Apprentice Scheme and is now on her way to fulfilling her ambition of being a qualified Solicitor. Emma is studying part time with the University of Law whilst completing her apprenticeship with Bakers Solicitors.
